Stuff and Stuff

Author: JeMA
The change in our life is visible now, boxes piling up on the sides of the rooms, food layed out buffet style so the cupboards can be cleaned.  The spaces where furniture rested, now only lines on the carpet.

I am moving in steps, very small steps.  Actually, sometimes in circles where I float in and out of rooms for hours.  Today my hips hurt from the lifting and floating.

I am also grouchy, short with the kids and short on attention.  I just want stuff out of this house.  I am at the point where I don't really care how it finds a way out, by someone else's trailer, a friend's van, a garbage bag!  Who cares!  Be gone stuff.  You are holding me down!

Your load lightens with each step. Soon your hair will be blowing in the breeze as the miles slip away...

Thank you for your support Catherine, Joanne, Teresa and Inge. It feels like a dream at this point as we focus on the packing and list of things to do. It will be a moment to remember when we hop in the RV on the 30th and begin our new life.
